Set Up FORMED Funding

Follow these simple steps to create your funding campaign.

TERMS AND REQUIREMENTS

Welcome to FORMED Funding! Please review the terms and conditions, the steps involved, and to get tips on how to maximize your campaign effectiveness. Terms and Requirements:

  1. The service is only available for Annual Group On Demand subscribers who have a credit card payment method on file.
  2. New/reactivated accounts may not cancel a Funding Campaign until after the first billing takes place in 30 days.
  3. No billing occurs until the Funding Campaign ends (either 30 days for new/reactivated accounts or on the renewal date).
  4. The credit card on file is only charged if the funds raised do not completely cover the cost (and are only charged the remainder).
  5. Excess Funds are non-refundable but will be retained for subsequent renewals or for FORMED Market purchases.
  6. THIS SERVICE IS COMPLETELY FREE FOR ACCOUNT HOLDERS WHO ACCEPT THESE TERMS.

FORMED FUNDING FOR EXISTING ACCOUNTS

Step-by-Step

1. Go to On-Demand account page

Go to the On Demand section of your account page and make sure you have a credit card on file. This is required to use FORMED Funding.

2. Enable FORMED Funding

Click the Enable link in the FORMED Funding box.

3. Review Terms, Set a Goal

Review and accept terms and set a funding goal. On your renewal date your account is billed using any funds raised. Your card will only be charged for any outstanding balance.

Congratulations!

Your account is ready to accept contributions. Your campaign status will be visible on the community page and in the header. You’re now ready to invite members using your custom url via email, pulpit pitches your parish website, etc.

FORMED FUNDING FOR NEW ACCOUNTS

Step by Step

1. Sign up for an Annual Plan

Create a new FORMED group subscription. FORMED Funding can be applied to annual plans only.

2. FORMED Fund your Account!

During checkout, add a Credit Card Payment method and check the “FORMED Fund this account” checkbox. Note: FORMED Funding is not available when paying by check.

3. Review Terms, Set a Goal

Review and accept terms and set a funding goal. Complete checkout process and PLACE ORDER. You will not be billed anything for 30 days. Continue and complete your order.

4. Activate your Account

Activate your organization with name, mission statement, image, custom url. Set up your Community page to help members get started. Members will see the latest Funding Campaign status whenever they visit the Community page. Be sure to invite members to visit the Community page and make a contribution.

5. Add Featured Content to your Community

Add topics, featured courses and movies, discussion groups relevant to seasons or to your organization’s current interests and goals. Watch this movie about how to use your Community page.

REACTIVATION USING FORMED FUNDING

1. Go you Account page and Reactivate

On your account page, you see a blue reactivate button.

2. Choose Annual Plan

FORMED Funding is only available for annual subscriptions.

3. Add/update your credit card on file

Add/update your credit card on file and check the “FORMED Fund this account” checkbox.

4. Agree to Terms and Complete your Order

Review and accept terms and set a funding goal. Complete checkout process and PLACE ORDER. You will not be billed anything for 30 days.

CONTRIBUTIONS

When you have a FORMED Funding Campaign enabled and visible, members will always see the funding progress (the amount raised, percent of goal achieved, and the number of days until the campaign ends along with a link to contribute) whenever they visit FORMED On Demand or your Community page. Members may contribute on a one-time or recurring-monthly basis by entering a credit card. As contributions are received, the campaign status is updated dynamically until the campaign ends so everyone can see the very latest status.

MONITOR or ADJUST

As the administrator of the FORMED Funding account you can…

  • Monitor all activity on the FORMED Funding account panel (contributions, disbursements and status changes.)
  • Hide or show the campaign status to members
  • Edit FORMED Funding Goal
  • Export Annual Contributors/Contributions
  • Enable or Disable FORMED Funding
